This year's Men's Retreat will be at the Gull Lake Ministries in the Battle Creek area which is about two hours away. Men can plan on making their way there anytime on Friday. Please attend our next quarterly Men's Breakfast for an overview of the conference and all the things to do at the retreat center. Activities may include kayaking, golfing, bowling, volleyball and basketball. The Gilmore Car Museum is also a very interesting attraction near the retreat center.
During the retreat, we will have two opportunities for learning Biblical Principles for Financial Stewardship. Rich Carrico, former CBC Treasurer and successful businessman will be presenting our Friday night session on Financial Stewardship which will cover financial issues to consider while managing the finances for your family. On Saturday morning, David McMillian from Hopper McMillian will be speaking regarding retirement planning and will be offering custom retirement planning services, free of charge to men who attend.
The cost will be $77 for lodging ($25 for high school and college students). Meals are on your own but affordable suggests will be provided. The accommodations will include refrigerators so you can bring some food to cut down on the costs of dining out.
Contact Rich Carrico if you need any additional information.
