CHILDREN ARE A PRECIOUS GIFT FROM GOD. But while children are a source of great joy, parenting can be a di cult and frustrating experience. After all, these gifts did not come with instructions. Or did they? The God Who gave our children has also given us instructions for raising them. In His book, the Bible, God gives us principles that are designed to help us achieve our purpose as parents.
PLEASE JOIN US starting Sunday, September 11th at 11:00 a.m. as we look at what God has to say about parenting, and discover how our children can become not only a gift, but a blessing.
On the four Sundays in June (5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th) during the Discovering God hour (11:00 a.m.), we’ll offer our periodic New Member’s Class. The New Member’s Class is for those who’ve recently joined.
This class is designed to give new members more in-depth information about CBC and its ministries as well as to integrate you into the life of the church. We’ll be discussing our ministries and how you can be a part of what God is doing at CBC.
On the four Sundays in June (5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th) during the Discovering God hour (11:00 a.m.), we’ll offer our periodic Newcomer’s Orientation. The Orientation is for those who’d like to know more about CBC.
This class is designed to assist those who are new to CBC as you consider whether CBC is the place for you and your family. The choice of a church is a serious matter that must be made prayerfully and be a decision based on adequate information about the church.
We have no illusions that ours is the only church; there are many that are faithfully carrying out the Lord’s work. But we do believe we have established a God-honoring church that provides a way for each member of your family to grow and serve. We hope that this class will be profitable to you as you undertake this important decision.
Your marriage can grow in intimacy and trust even as you deal with the everyday irritations and conflicts that all couples experience.
Marriage Matters is a 10-week course that will help you see those disagreements as opportunities to face the underlying issues that destroy intimacy and to grow closer as you learn to sacrificially love each other. A broad array of topics will be covered including communication, conflict, forgiveness, intimacy, sex, and marriage roles.
Please join us for this important series Sundays at 11:00, because Marriage Matters, to you, to your spouse, and to God.

And, we plan to have our long-awaited pictorial directory available that night.

Please note: the Orientation is for information only; attendance does not commit one to membership.
On July 20th Pastor Ken will begin a series during the Discovering God hour (11:00) called Where is God When It Hurts? which will provide God’s view of our suffering – why it happens, His role in it, and how we should respond. God wants us to benefit from life’s difficulties, so His guidebook for life, the Bible, is full of teaching about our pain. Please join us as we see that in our misery God shows us His mercy.
