Students

CBC Students is for guys and girls from grades 6-8 (Junior High) and 9-12 (Senior High). We meet each Sunday during the Discovering God hour to study and discuss what the Bible says about a variety of topics relevant to today's teens. The junior high and senior high groups meet separately on Sundays, but our desire is the same for both age groups: to see their understanding of Scripture deepen and their faith strengthened. On Wednesday nights, both age groups meet as one group to explore God's purpose for our lives and how we should live together. We start our time with board games and conversation in a relaxed, casual environment. Then we finish the night by having a group study and discussion on that week's topic.

All teens meet with their respective age groups, junior high (grades 6-8) or senior high (grades 9-12). At the conclusion of our discussions, teens are dismissed to find their parents.

We strive to have youth activities every 4-6 weeks throughout the year. We enjoy a variety of activities like bowling, ice skating, spending time at a teen family's house for a bonfire, meeting at the CBC Ministry Center to watch a movie, or having a white elephant gift exchange at Christmas time. Our summers are filled with the CBC’s Church Family Camp, serving in the Vacation Bible School program, camps, or ministry trips. We look forward to seeing your teen at our next activity!
