Communion Service

Today, we delve into the profound reality of sin in the Christian life and the incredible grace of God. We explore 1 John, which reminds us that while we strive for holiness, sin remains a struggle even for believers. However, the key difference lies in our response to sin. As Christians, we're called to confess our sins, knowing that God is faithful and just to forgive us. This isn't about achieving perfection, but about maintaining a humble, repentant heart. The passage beautifully illustrates the two types of forgiveness we receive - forensic forgiveness at salvation and familial forgiveness in our ongoing relationship with God. Just as children seek forgiveness from loving parents, we too approach our Heavenly Father, knowing His love never wavers. This message challenges us to examine our hearts, confront our sins honestly, and lean into the transformative power of Christ's sacrifice.
