As we reflect on the profound significance of Easter, we're invited to explore the meticulously planned work of Jesus Christ. This message delves into Matthew 16, revealing how Jesus' death and resurrection were not mere happenstance, but part of God's eternal design. We're reminded that Christ's sacrifice was foreshadowed through countless animal offerings over centuries, culminating in the ultimate Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. The resurrection confirms Jesus' victory over death and sin, offering us hope and new life. As we contemplate this, we're challenged to consider our own response to Christ's work. Are we living in light of His resurrection power? Are we actively participating in His ongoing work through His church? This Easter, let's renew our commitment to follow the risen Lord, recognizing that every Sunday is an opportunity to celebrate His victory and live out our faith with purpose and joy.
