The church lifecycle moves from vision and beliefs through structure and ministry, but without intentional renewal, it descends into nostalgia, questioning, polarization, and ultimately dropout. The antidote? Continuously renewing the vision and returning to our core mission: making disciples who are fully mature in Christ, as outlined in Colossians 1:28. This isn't about busy church activities for their own sake—every initiative must serve the purpose of bringing people to Christ and growing them in Christ. We're called to be an 'epicenter church,' radiating gospel impact from our Jerusalem outward to the ends of the earth, just as the Thessalonian church did. The question isn't whether we'll face challenges, but whether we'll have the foresight and courage to address them proactively, ensuring no disciple is left behind in God's transformative work.
